All of us have choice.
So often people go through life not realizing that they have choices as if they're on a steel railroad track. But that track is most often composed only of their thoughts and beliefs.
Meditation offers a break from the usual train of thoughts, if only for a few moments.
That break may be enough to allow just enough light to seep in around the corners of our beliefs so that one may see those beliefs for what they are, only beliefs, and this can open up the possibility of choice.
Then life becomes richer.
