We are granted only a certain amount of time in life, and do not know how much. The clock starts running at birth and ticks away until death. We can envision our life as a string of moments, like a sting of diamonds, one after the next. We can be awake and experience each of these jewel-like moments, or, as so often happens, we can miss one or more due to emotional storms, lack of awareness, and mental chatter. Yoga provides a means to be conscious of more of our life.
